During your first appointment, every patient receives a comprehensive initial examination, including a personal consultation and the creation of a tailored treatment plan.
This thorough diagnostic visit includes the following steps:
- Reviewing your medical and dental history.
- Examining your teeth in detail using an intraoral transillumination light.
- Assessing the condition and function of your existing fillings and dental restorations.
- Taking a panoramic X-ray showing all your teeth, both jaws, the maxillary sinuses and jaw joints.
- Where indicated, taking a CBCT scan to provide detailed 3D cross-sectional images of your teeth and surrounding bone. These images support a more precise assessment and treatment planning.
- Preparing a personalised treatment plan, including a cost estimate.
- Marking the planned procedures on your panoramic X-ray, which will be made available to you.
